Generator Studio

Founded in 2009, Generator Studio is a studio of architects, interior designers, and graphic designers united by the belief that great design creates emotional connection and long-term value—balancing luxury with functionality, weaving story into place, and crafting environments that leave a lasting impression.

Our work spans sports + entertainment, hospitality, nonprofit, residential, and commercial lifestyle developments, opening the door for our staff to design across different typologies, scales, and experiences. Generator Studio is intentionally right-sized—large enough to lead complex, high-profile projects, yet agile enough to ensure meaningful collaboration, creative exploration, and direct mentorship from senior leadership on every project.

Generator's portfolio of recent work includes local landmark and community-driven projects like CPKC Stadium, Morton Amphitheater, Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City, and MOCSA, alongside national collaborations including Live Nation’s Coca-Cola Amphitheater, the Chicago Blackhawks Ice Center expansion, and the redevelopment of Seattle's Memorial Stadium.

Our culture is rooted in curiosity, accountability, and a shared pursuit of craft; values that have earned national recognition. Generator Studio has been named a Best Place to Work in Sports by Front Office Sports and Sports Business Journal for four consecutive years, and in 2022, the studio was honored as AIA Kansas City’s Firm of the Year.
