AIA Missouri Executive Director


AIA Missouri is looking for a highly qualified individual or organization to act as a part-time executive director of the chapter, supporting the AIA Missouri mission, its members, and the board’s strategic objectives.

The Executive Director serves as the strategic and hands-on leader for AIA Missouri and ensures the chapter’s role as a source of education, information, and advocacy. The role acts as an advocate of the profession state-wide and nationally. The position is a 1099 contract position that reports to the AIA Missouri Board of Directors, renewable on an annual basis.

Client Development Coordinator

Sports Facility Architect

Sports Facility Architect

This position requires strong understanding of building systems, and delivery methods. Ability to work in a team environment with consultants and maintain client communications and expectations.  Architectural, registration required, LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparation of drawings for schematic design, design development, and contract documents

Communication between the other team members

Assist with or have direct responsibility for design, translating client requirements to design criteria from conceptual design through installation

Coordinate contractors, consultants

Be responsible for the complete integration of design and technical aspects of the project

Skill Set:

  • Experienced and knowledgeable in sports facility design
  • Experience in the programming, design and technical documentation
  • Minimum 10 years experience
  • Experience in the use of Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop and other applicable software
  • Interested individuals should provide a resume, digital portfolio and project Owner references
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience and ability
