Join BHC for this program about how successful sustainable design begins with understanding and respecting the site. This presentation examines how civil site design strategies can work within existing site context to create functional, resilient, and environmentally responsible spaces. We’ll explore approaches for evaluating site conditions, integrating green space, designing for the human environment, and addressing stormwater challenges through retention, detention, and bioretention solutions. Attendees will learn how thoughtful site planning can balance sustainability goals with regulatory requirements and client expectations.

This program is worth 1 HSW. Lunch will be provided for those who attend in person. For those who attend on Zoom, you must attend the full session to get AIA credit. If you leave the Zoom meeting early, no credit will be reported.
