Join Clint Paugh Lighting Design for this program that explores lighting practices used to light artwork at the Nelson-Atkins and other museums, that can be applied to enhance any space. We will demonstrate how five core museum lighting strategies are effective for ensuring effective and impactful design across diverse projects, from high-end residences and dynamic restaurants to solemn churches. Participants will learn how to move beyond basic quantitative requirements to create evocative, functional, and flexible environments.
This program is worth 1 LU. Lunch will be provided for those who attend in person. For those who attend on Zoom, you must attend the full session to get AIA credit. If you leave the Zoom meeting early, no credit will be reported.
