Kansas City Design Center is having an opening exhibit for their semester project at the Central Library on December 15.
This semester, Kansas City Design Center students explored how design can build community resilience, the ability of neighborhoods to prepare for, withstand, and recover from climate, social and economic challenges. The studio integrated Architecture and Industrial Design students aiming to create proposals for both Resilience Hubs and the products, furnishings and systems that could support a Hub and be deployed at other neighborhood sites. Join us for our exhibit opening at the Central Library on December 15th from 4-6pm to learn more about community resilience efforts in Kansas City!
