KCDC Pop-up at Oppenstein Park

This spring, KCDC students participated in a design competition to develop a public realm installation for downtown Kansas City to welcome visitors for the World Cup. Thanks to support from HNTB and the Neighborhood Tourism Development Fund, one of the winning student designs will be installed at Oppenstein Park through the month of June.

Join us on June 16th from 11:00 - 2:00 for the opening celebration! Stop by to hangout, enjoy lunch from a food truck, and see the work conceived by KCDC students and brought to life by our high school summer interns! The activation will continue every Tuesday through Thursday throughout June, with games, programming, and rotating food trucks.
