GOOD DESIGN IS GOOD DESIGN
The Young Architects Forum of AIA Kansas City invites young designers to submit their work for the 2023 Monsters of Design awards. Projects of all types and scales (architecture, product, furniture, sculpture, drawings, etc.) are welcome. Past winners have included handbags, lighting fixtures, and unbuilt conceptual buildings. We really mean it. Submit anything. Get to it!

ELIGIBILITY
…must be a student or young professional under the age of 39 as of the end of 2023.

…professionals must reside and work within Kansas City. Students from Kansas State University, University of Kansas, UMKC, or KCAI are eligible. 

…MoD recognizes individual designers - not entities or firms. Entries submitted under company names will NOT be considered. Companies ARE permitted to cover entry fees of individuals.

…All submission material, including renderings and display boards must be the work of the designer responsible for its creation. If a designer was responsible for only certain parts of a larger project, only the portions designed by the qualified entrant may be submitted.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
One (1) 24x36 digital presentation board, landscape orientation, and a brief written statement of intent.

*Be creative with how you use the digital space. Tell a story of your work graphically.*

All submission material must be the work of the designer responsible for its creation. If a designer was responsible for only certain parts of a larger project, only the portions designed by the qualified entrant may be submitted.
