SOLD OUT: YAF + BEC Site Series: The Nelson-Atkins Bloch Addition Roof Replacement Site Walk

4:00 PM
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art | 4525 Oak Street Kansas City, KS 66111 Map

Join the AIA Kansas City Young Architects Forum (YAF) for the next installment of the 2026 YAF: Site Series - a site walk of the Bloch Building addition at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, focused on the ongoing roof replacement construction. Participants will gain firsthand exposure to the construction process through a guided tour led by the project's construction team, with the added benefit of seeing work at multiple stages of completion across the site - some areas just starting, others midway through, and some nearing completion. Fun way to earn a few CE hours on your AXP!

This is a great opportunity for emerging professionals to see how a major renovation unfolds in real time on an iconic Kansas City building. The session will conclude with a nearby happy hour, offering time to connect with peers and industry professionals.
