Join Gibbens Draks Scott that will discuss recent energy code updates, with special focus on 2021 IECC, recently adopted in KCMO.  This will be a big leap from the previously adopted 2012 IECC.  The presentation will focus on MEP systems but will relate back to overall building design impacts.  We will discuss lighting, lighting controls, energy metering/monitoring requirements, HVAC systems, energy modeling, and building envelop requirements.  The discussion will include compliance strategies, including pros and cons of various compliance paths. 

This program is worth 1 HSW.  Lunch will be provided for this who attend in person.  For those who attend on Zoom, you must attend the full session in order to get AIA credit.  If you leave the Zoom meeting early, no credit will be reported.
