Cultivating Neighborhoods & the Small Scale Development Movement

6:30 PM
Kauffman Foundation Conference Center | 4801 Rockhill Road Kansas City, MO 64110 Map

Join us on Wednesday, September 12th for a unique opportunity to engage in a growing national conversation with one of the nation’s most influential urbanists, Monte Anderson. He will be sharing highlights from his Small Developer Workshop, so this conversation is especially relevant for anyone interested in small scale and neighborhood development.

Anderson works with the Minnesota-based Incremental Development Alliance, an organization that has elevated the practice of small development and taught local entrepreneurs in cities around the country the mechanisms for building value in their neighborhoods. The organization offers a road map for pulling off such small-scale development projects – from managing the cost of infrastructure to creating affordable housing, gaining access to financial capital, and training new entrepreneurs.

The event is free, but space is limited so you must register here to reserve your spot.
