ABOUT THE PROJECT
The HELM is the second phase of The Yards development, located across the state line in Kansas City, Kansas, along the Kansas River. The 224-unit apartment building offers rare riverfront views and direct river access from shared amenity spaces. Developed in partnership with the Unified Government of Wyandotte County, the project supports a new adjacent public park and levee-top stair access, promoting riverfront activities like kayaking, trail use, and sunset viewing.

The building’s massing is oriented toward the river while referencing the Stockyards District and future development. A modern brick facade defines the urban edge, complemented by an industrial-inspired metal facade reflecting the site's raw, riverside character.
