AIGA: Sustainability by Design

6:15 PM
Center for Architecture & Design | 1801 McGee, Suite 100 Kansas City, MO 64108 Map

Have you ever wondered how your job as a designer impacts your environment? Ever wanted to reduce your carbon footprint and create something that isn’t just designed beautifully but is beautiful by design? How can we design to consider the lifecycle of our work and integrate it into our creative process?

Join us for a panel discussion where we’ll define sustainable design, discuss the challenges of recycling, and learn how Hallmark kicked off their sustainability program. Attendees will have a chance to win a raffle for Michael Braungart's book Cradle to Cradle. There will also be an upcycled notebook made from Hammerpress misprints giveaway.

Doors open at 5:45PM.
Event starts at 6:15PM.
