The next KDAT certification/re-certification training is set for Wed., April 12 from 9 a.m to 3:30 p.m. at the Topeka library. This class is for AIA Kansas and Heart of America, International Code Council (HOA ICC) volunteers.
In addition, Safety Assessment Program (SAP) training is offered in the afternoon for those who would like to participate.
Re-certification is required every two years to maintain your active volunteer status and receive an identification card from the Kansas Division of Emergency Management, which allows you access to disaster areas.
NOTE: KDAT= 4 LU/HSW credits | SAP= 3.5 LU/HSW credits
