United WE's Appointments Project

For boards and commissions to best serve women, their families and our communities, we need to have a strong and diverse representation of women at the table that truly reflects our residents. Our communities need women like you to serve on boards and commissions at the city, county and state level. Progress is hindered when women’s voices are not heard and there is not equal representation at decision-making tables.

The goal of civic boards and commissions is to represent your community. All community citizens are qualified. You are ready and prepared with the knowledge and experience needed — and we’re asking you to serve.

The Appointments Project serves as a talent bank, advisor, and advocate for the women seeking opportunities to lead their communities — women like you!

  • By registering with Appointments Project, you will receive access to additional resources that will guide you in your civic leadership journey and help you navigate the process.
