Join the AIA Kansas City Young Architects Forum (YAF) to kick off the 2026 YAF: Site Series - a site walk of the new dental building under construction on UMKC's Hospital Hill campus. Participants will gain firsthand exposure to the construction process through a guided tour led by the project's construction team and representatives from the Building Enclosure Council (BEC). Fun way to earn a few CE hours on your AXP!

This is a great opportunity for emerging professionals to get on-site construction experience and see how design translates to the built environment. The session will conclude with a happy hour at Teocali (2512 Holmes Street, KCMO, 64108), offering time to connect with peers and industry professionals.

Registration & Requirements

Attendance is limited to 25 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. All attendees must wear closed-toe shoes, safety glasses, high-vis vest, and a hard hat. If you do not have PPE, please contact Jake or Sabrina prior to the event so we can source some.
