Join the AIA Kansas City Young Architects Forum (YAF) and The Builders, a chapter of the AGC for the next session in the YAF: BUILDS series — a hands-on learning experience with Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 15 at The Builders Training Center in North Kansas City.

Participants will gain firsthand insight into the craft and training behind masonry construction through bricklaying stations and tuck-pointing demonstrations led by BAC Local 15 craftworkers. It's a great opportunity to get hands-on with two of the primary skills in the trade and see which one comes more naturally! The session will conclude with a happy hour at Callsign Brewing in North Kansas City, offering time to connect with other young professionals.

Registration & Requirements

Attendance is limited to 35 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

All attendees must wear closed-toe shoes, safety glasses, a hard hat, and gloves. If you do not have any of the required PPE, please contact Sabrina or Jake prior to the event.
