You said what? Best practices in Workplace Communications
Communication is a two-way street, and to be an successful team member at a firm, part of your responsibility is to develop effective communication skills. And moving from the college environment to a workplace environment requires an adjustment in how, when and where you communicate with your peers, your supervisor and even your clients. Why? Because we now live in a world where 3-4 generations are in the workplace, and everyone seems to communicate a bit differently. In this session, we’ll arm you with the tools you’ll need to communicate effectively, as developing this skill will help you both professionally and personally.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Jen Lerner, CPSM is a Senior Associate and Director of Marketing & Communications at BRR Architecture, where she leads a team of creative professionals in elevating the firm’s national presence across retail, hospitality, grocery, office, multi-family, mixed-use and industrial markets. Before joining BRR in August 2018, she was a member of the Corporate Communications team at HNTB, where she managed four of the firm’s thought leadership publications, email marketing initiatives and social media channels. She has a combined 25+ years (gasp!) of communications and marketing experience, having spent more than a decade serving clients at an international integrated marketing firm She is also a recovering news producer; Jen won a Regional Emmy award for best overall news coverage, and uses her journalism, video and storytelling skills to this day.
