What is the Center for Architecture & Design?

Seven professional design organizations (AIA Kansas City, AIGA, IDSA KC, IIDA MA, KC-APA, PGASLA, and SEGD-KC) committed to working together to create a resourceful home for designers and the Kansas City community. Out of that commitment the Center for Architecture & Design was created.  In addition to two key focuses, KC Design Week and Education Outreach, the Center works to build a well-rounded schedule of events geared towards both professional development and inspiration.

Where is the Center for Architecture & Design?

AIA Kansas City’s office at 1801 McGee has been rebranded to the Center for Architecture & Design and already serves as a resource for many professional organizations.  This home base provides a place to hold events and be a visible reminder in the heart of the Crossroads neighborhood of the Center’s presence in the community.

How do I become a member of the Center?
