The Hines Competition is an annual event hosted by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) in which multi-disciplinary student teams from across the country reimagine the future of a large-scale site in a North American city. In 2021, Kansas City’s own East Village was selected as the site to be studied. Join AIA Kansas City’s YAF committee for a virtual event to hear from competition organizers, city leaders, and local student teams as they present their ideas for the future of the East Village neighborhood.
