Building engineering systems which will support commercialization of new innovative technologies. The evolving world of design and renewable energy solutions has changed the way Architects, Engineers and Designers think when developing solutions to preserve the planet's valuable resources. Some examples are: Smart Cities, Hyper-Loop Transportation, Electric Vehicle (EV) Fleet Charging design, Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landings, Indoor agriculture design as well as Microgrids / Battery Storage systems. 

Attendees will learn about:
1. New technologies coming to market - Smart City Solutions, Electrification of vehicle fleets; Future modes of transportation, Indoor agriculture design, Microgrid designs and uses

2. New technology building demands - Power for increasing electrical demand, water for data centers and indoor agriculture, cooling requirements, data volumes and reduced latency as smartphones and devices require faster speeds

3. New technology building and utility interconnect agreements - Planning building loads, site investigation, permitting and jurisdictional authorities

4. Venture capital funding options - Alternative finance options for new design and existing structure upgrades
