Join Avant Acoustics for this presentation on acoustics.
This course focuses on fundamental acoustical concepts and how to effectively communicate with others on acoustics. Along with learning basic terminology, attendees will calculate reverberation time, identify weaknesses in partitions, and model mechanical system noise.
Topics will include:
Terminology – Understand industry terminology needed to communicate on acoustics with clients and consultants.
Room Acoustics – Calculate theoretical reverberation time.
Architectural Noise Control – Identify common weaknesses in partitions.
Mechanical Noise Control – Model mechanical system noise using Trane Acoustics Program (TAP).
This program is worth 1 HSW and lunch will be provided.
