The Frank Lloyd Wright Revival Initiative will host a screening of Michael Miner’s latest documentary, Masterpieces, on May 21, at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. The screening will be followed by a tour and reception of the Wright-designed Bott House that includes a Champagne reception. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the work of the Frank Lloyd Wright Revival Initiative (FLWRI).

Masterpieces examines several of architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s most recognizable buildings and includes footage taken inside the Johnson Wax Headquarters, Fallingwater, Wingspread, Cedar Rock, the Price Tower, and the Auldbrass Plantation.

A tour and a Champagne reception will be held at the Bott House, which was designed by Wright in 1957 and built between 1961 and 1963. The house’s current owner, architect and noted Wright scholar Homer Williams, will be on hand to answer questions. Attendees will also receive 2 artifacts from the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Pappas house in St. Louis, an original light cover (original to the home but not designed by Mr. Wright), and a textile block fragment. The Pappas house was bought by Miner in 2020.
