The AIA Kansas City Equity in Architecture Committee will be hosting a 9-part conversation series structured around the AIA Guides for Equitable Practice.  Each session will be facilitated by a group of local chapter volunteers, and will give participants the chance to learn about best practices and tools to bring about meaningful change to our practices and our communities in the interest of diversity and equity.

Our third session in this series will be held on March 16 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and will cover the topic Compensation.   Compensation is a complicated and nuanced concept, but central to why most of us work in the first place. Changing our paradigm to talk about this concept holistically, this session will discuss ways of moving toward more equitable practices within this essential employment construct.  This session will be led by Linda Alouane, Sally Wurtzler and Heather Gentili of Gould Evans.
