The maintenance of the financial viability of a professional services firm in challenging economic times is highly dependent on its ability to identify and manage the risk caused by instability in the firm, its clients, and the other stakeholders in its operations and projects. This program, led by Schinnerer Senior Vice President Kevin Collins and contributed to by Schinnerer risk management attorney, Frank Musica, will look at changes to firms, clients, and projects and provide information on how preparation and action can mitigate the resultant professional liability exposure. The program will examine the concerns of firms during downsizing, consolidation, winding down, or bankruptcy. It will look at the risks when an owner abandons a project or sells out its interest during design or construction and what a firm can do to reduce its exposure when a bankruptcy trustee or lender assumes control of a project. The webinar will also discuss the use of copyrights and document ownership as leverage for payment in suspension and termination scenarios.
This program is worth 1 LU and please feel free to bring your own lunch.

“Sport is not a metaphor. It is a game and a part of life, culture as learned behavior. The social activity and communion is more important than winning or losing, and the wellspring of that communion is regional, determined by where you live and how you live.” – Ihor Holubisky, from Body Power/Power Play
The exhibition project, You’re Such a Good Sport, focuses on artists’ work relating to sports and sports culture. Featuring visual artworks as well as performances, participatory activities, special events and public programs, this exhibition represents both sport and art as deeply rooted into our definitions of ourselves, individually and culturally, and invites viewers and participants to discover commonalities within the meanings of gamesmanship and art-making. You’re Such a Good Sport exemplifies qualities of sport and art as experiences to be shared, critiqued, celebrated, and explored.
In addition to works by local as well as national and international visual, You’re Such a Good Sport incorporates regional sports objects as well as specific sports-inspired exhibition furniture to create a lively, multi-faceted context and experience . Artist and arts professional Michael Schonhoff is the manager and chief curator of the project.
The exhibition is divided into two parts: a group exhibition at Paragraph gallery and “The Training Room” in the adjacent Project Space.
