BEC: EIFS and the science of continuous insulation.

The Building Enclosure Council of Kansas City is pleased to announce our next session on July 21st. We will be gathering at 6pm with the presentation starting shortly afterwards. Please note that the session will be located at AIA-Kansas City at 1801 McGee on the first level.

Our guest speaker will be John Edgar, Technical Director – Building Science at Sto Corp. John will be travelling to Kansas City specifically for this presentation, so please make plans to attend.

Research and Development Supporting EIFS – the session will include a discussion on the evolution of EIFS, the advantages of fluid applied air moisture barrier, computer modeling and research in support of the computer modeling. Given the coming requirements for continuous insulation, this presentation will present a strong argument concerning the durability and performance of EIFS.
The session will be worth (1) AIA continuing education credit.

The Session is open to all trades and professions related to building design, construction, maintenance and property management.
