Through its scores of programs and services, AIA Kansas City enhances the public's awareness and appreciation of the unique services and contributions that architects provide, enhancing architects' visibility and stature among clients and within the community. In addition, as the collective voice of the architecture profession, AIA Kansas City makes sure that architects' concerns and interests are heard by key decision-makers at the federal, state and local levels and in the private sector. Architecture firms profit from our public-policy advisors' legislative savvy and diligent monitoring of regulatory matters affecting our communities, our profession and the building industry in general.

What is the right membership category for me?
Whether you are an Architect, Intern, or Designer, you are invited to join The American Institute of Architects Kansas City in one of these categories:
AIA - I am an architect registered in one of the states in the U.S.
Associate - Open to individuals who meet one of the following criteria:
- I am an intern participating in career responsibilities and working toward licensure
- I am an intern working under the supervision of an architect
- I hold a degree in architecture
- I am a faculty member in a university program in architecture
Professional Affiliate - Professional Affiliate members will consist of individuals that are affiliated with the architecture industry. Members may include vendors and other affiliated organizations. Professional Affilate Application and Dues Form.
Allied Firm Member - Allied Firm members will consist of firms that are employed outside of the architectural practice but are involved in positions allied to the field of architecture. Members may include engineers, contractors, landscape architects, and others in the construction industry. Allied Firm Member Application and Dues Form.
