The Young Architects Forum presents our second Hard Hat Tour of 2019, exploring projects currently under construction or recently completed, guided by the designers who worked on the project.

46 Penn Centre is a 16-story, 210’-0” tall, 464,000 SF office tower and 600+ parking garage currently being developed by Block Real Estate Services just off of Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza. This mixed-use, urban infill project replaced several aging, WW2-era apartment buildings, and was rezoned as an Urban Redevelopment District during design.  At the groundbreaking in 2016, this was the first ground up construction project on the Plaza since 2005, and upon completion, will be the tallest building in the Plaza area. It is expected to reach substantial completion and open by July 2020.
