Industry Event | The Effects of Wind Induced Vibration on Steel and Aluminum Light Poles

This course, presented by Key Lighting, will provide AIA members with one AIA Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) learning unit.

  • Explain the difference between First-and Second-Mode Vibration
  • Predict and avoid the harmful effects of Aeolian Vibration, such as downed poles and fixtures in outdoor lighting areas
  • Properly inspect site lighting structures for signs of Aeolian vibration
  • Once Aeolian vibration is identified, determine which solution best fits the situation.
