STUDIES IN STONE: Traditional Dutchman Repairs in Masonry Conservation
Stone has long been prized for its beauty and durability. Nevertheless, it is not impervious to the ravages of time and weather. While stone remains a highly resilient material, the modern techniques used to repair stone, such as patching, have not always proven as long-lasting.

Dutchman repairs are the traditional gold standard for masonry repairs. Specifying and executing these repairs can be daunting when facing the challenges of modern masonry projects. The Kansas Statehouse provides a case study in utilizing the means and methods available today to achieve quality in great quantity with speed.

While the seminar is free, registration (on the right) is required.
Space is limited, please register by Friday, November 2, 2018.
Door prizes will be provided!
