Please join us in making a real difference to Northeast KC! Lykins Square Park is the heart of the Lykins Neighborhood. Changes to the park and the surrounding square will have a inspirational impact on the evolution of this amazingly diverse community. There are many committed stakeholders--an engaged Neighborhood Association that has given great input on programming and amenities, significant and committed funders, and city support. The opportunity to transform vision into reality is real and exciting.

Eco Abet has been working with the Lykins Neighborhood Association to focus in on Lykins Square Park and the surrounding adjacent lots. The Lykins Neighborhood is comprised of a diverse community within the larger area of Northeast Kansas City. We have also formed relationships with the neighborhood to gain an understanding of what types of amenities are needed. We are looking at improving the current park, as well as a potential community center, new housing, and mixed-use buildings.
